No Christmas Music before Thanksgiving By: Bradley Maines

For most of us we all love and enjoy the cheerful winter with its heart felt times of happiness. We love the snow, the upbeat attitude that is given off and yes even the Christmas music that gets us in the mood for Christmas. Christmas is the time of the year we all come together to celebrate the birth of Christ and give thanks to those around us. Usually people listen to Christmas music during the month of December or after Thanksgiving, but since 2020 has been such a disaster many think that Christmas music will help make things seem more happier than what they are.

There is a reason many listen to Christmas music during the month of December because it makes the Holiday itself feel more special and more memorable. So by listening to the songs of December in any other month are you really taking away from the everlasting memory of Christmas morning when you are gathered around a tree surrounded your family. Yes in these tough times it may be tempting to listen to Christmas music when Christmas music isn't supposed to be played but we are in this together we can fight the urge to listen to Christmas music together.

  1. I totally agree with you. I think the reason Christmas music is special is because we listen to it during the month of December or after Thanksgiving. If you listen to it before then it doesn't have the same effect.
