The Desperate Need for Christmas Magic By Rylee Munier

  

    Christmas time is right around the corner, and many people cannot wait. I am so excited to start getting into the Christmas spirit. This time of year brings a different kind of joy to many people. This kind of happiness is needed in a time like this. 

    With the Covid-19 pandemic and other events that have happened this year, many people are not in the happiest state of mind. People have been stuck in their houses, losing their jobs and haven't been able to see family members in a very long time. Nobody would be happy in these conditions. It is time for something to brighten up everyone's lives.

    The day after Thanksgiving, me and my family put away all the fall decorations and we break out the Christmas ones. I look forward to this time of year every year. We decorate the house as a family, and then we go and get our Christmas tree. I help load it into the back of the truck and then bring it back to the house. We decorate the tree as a family. We bake cookies and watch Christmas movies. This is one of my favorite things that happens all year. 

    Many people have been stuck in their house with their family for a while now, and that can begin to get on people's nerves. But for me, I love the time we get to spend together and Christmas makes it even more fun. We make new memories every year and have an amazing time together. Christmas time brings everyone together. It is a very magical time that people look forward to all year long. 

    Christmas is a great way to shed some light on the current situation. Everyone could use some magic and joy at a time like this. Although Christmas is not going to solve the problems that are happening in the world, we can take a quick break from reality and enjoy what we can while we can.
