COVID on Santa's Naughty List By: Mason Munier

 Dear Kopp Family, 

   Thank you for writing. I was thrilled to receive your letter this morning regarding the COVID fiasco we are all in. I am happy to let you know COVID will not stop me from visiting you this year. The elves and I have prepared all year for this Christmas and we will not let anything stop us from delivering the toys to the young girls and boys on the good list. That being said, I am happy to let you know the whole Kopp Family has made it onto the good list! This Christmas is going to be the most difficult for the elves, the reindeer, Mrs. Claus, and myself. In order to safety deliver all the presents we will be taking the following precautions...

1. Prior to the toys being delivered, the elves will disinfect all the toys before leaving our workshop. 

2. I will have hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray ready to go at the front of my sleigh. 

3. Instead of wearing my usual thin black gloves, this year the elves made me extra thick COVID resistant gloves. 

4. When I enter a families chimney I will put my mask on. (My mask is customized to fit my huge beard)

5. When I place the presents under the families tree I will disinfect each box and bag once more. 

6. Sadly I am not able to eat the cookies or drink the milk you have left for me due to the germs with the virus. Although this saddens me, I am able to feed the milk and cookies to my reindeer because their magic makes them immune to the virus. 

This years COVID Christmas should run smoothly because of the precautions we will be taking in the North Pole and all across the world. Our world is facing some very hard times right now but I want to remind you're family that you guys are not facing them alone. Turn to Christmas spirit as a way to stay happy and hopeful like many other people across the world. And just remember, the Christmas spirit will always be more powerful then COVID.

I can't wait to make my stop at your house this year. The elves and I have been working very hard to prepare the best gifts for your family. I hope you are all able to get the presents on the top of your lists. Keep up the good work kids! I will be visiting you soon.
