Everyone had their own unique ways of coping with being stuck at home in quarantine, but as certain trends started coming alive it made quarantining a little more bearable.
In first place with a 10/10 rating is Chloe Ting workouts. This one was mostly used by the girls but it is the most productive trend that caught on. It established a schedule in many people's lives and added much-needed exercise to the usual sit on the couch and sleep kind of day. Overall Chloe Ting did no harm and all good and is a phase that I'm sure many people would love to get back into.
Next in line is whipped coffee with an 8/10 rating. This drink took over for a solid two weeks before people started getting tired of whipping the coffee on their own. This trend started on tik tok where different variations followed, whipped chocolate, chai etc. This trend wasn't bad but was time-consuming and messy for a result that you could easily get with just a normal cold brew.
Daily family walks could either go really well or just or just overall terrible. Having to get up from watching TV to go on a 5-mile walk to nowhere was fun to a certain extent. It was bonding time with my family but on the other hand, it was just exhausting. I'd give this a 6.5/10 because sometimes my family would get food and it would make it ten times better.
Although there were many more trends such as tiger king, art and tik toks, these were my three favorites in the order that I liked them. Quarantine was so long ago that people aare forgetting the small things that made it a little less terrible.
I love this creative idea and I agree Chloe Ting workouts were great during quarantine!
ReplyDeleteThis was so funny and accurate haha
ReplyDeleteMy family would go on walks too in the beginning of quarantine and they definitely were also either good or just really bad hahah.
ReplyDeleteI'm still going on as many walks as possible. Even though we're in school, my kids don't have sports right now so that leaves a lot of time before dinner to get in a workout or walk!
ReplyDeleteI also thought this was really creative, there have been so many things people have done / came up with during quarantine haha
