Unpopular opinion can range from the controversial to the mundane and everywhere in between. They can be about our society as a whole or even a person’s favorite toothpaste. Instead of writing a story about how I think oatmeal raisin cookies are so much better than chocolate chip cookies (they are, it’s not even a competition at this point, chocolate chip cookies suck) I want to highlight the different unpopular opinions in their separate categories. I asked some of my friends and family what their unpopular opinions are in 3 separate areas: food, media (such as TV, books, movies), and socially/culturally. I also thought it would be more fun to ask the people around me about their different unpopular opinions instead of just mine.
